Our lineup & departments

About us

The AStA is made up of several departments that are responsible for different tasks. There is also an Executive Board which consists of a chairperson, a vice chairperson and the financial officers.

In addition to the departmental tasks, each AStA officer regularly attends the weekly meetings and helps out at committee events.

Furthermore, subcommittees can be formed to support the AStA or, as in most cases, a specific department in its work. Examples are the Teestube and Kadu teams. The AStA or the department officer is authorized to issue instructions to the committee and is jointly responsible for its work.

Help with discrimination, sexual harassment/violence & equality issues

Our Equality Department is your first point of contact if you have experienced discrimination, sexual harassment or violence or would like to talk about other equality-related issues. Our aim is to give you the opportunity to talk to us and find support in a confidential setting.

We will also support you in contacting the Equal Opportunities Office and act as your first point of contact. Everyone affected is taken seriously and we work together to find solutions.

Contact us if you need help - we are here for you! We have a separate mailbox (awareness-asta@umwelt-campus.de) that can only be accessed by a small, confidential group of people (Jana Krest, Hagen Sahm and Berenike Kücker), so you are in safe hands.
