Quality control and quality development, in the sense of a continuous effort for excellent study, teaching and research achievements, are central concerns and fundamental tasks of our entire university.

The internal quality management system at Umwelt-Campus Birkenfeld, the University of Applied Sciences Trier, aims at a permanent and transparent assurance as well as a continuous and sustainable improvement of quality in studies and teaching. It is based on a strategy for the continuous improvement of the study programmes as well as the achievement of the desired qualification goals of each study programme.

In order to identify areas for improvement, various surveys and evaluations are regularly carried out among students and graduates:

• freshmen survey
• course survey
• graduate survey
• service survey etc.
