Welcome to the official website of the General Students' Committee (AStA) at the Umwelt Campus! As the central representation of students, we are passionately committed to improving the student life at our university.

The AStA is the voice of the student body and represents its interests towards the university management, politics and other relevant stakeholders. Our main goal is to create an optimal learning and working environment for all students and to effectively represent their concerns.

As an elected student representative body, we are involved in various areas such as culture, events and university politics in order to promote exchange between students and enrich campus life.

it's that time again! Also this year our “Häuserkampf” will take place!

• What is it?
  The “Häuserkampf” is a wonderful opportunity for all UCB students, employees & professors to "really try their hand" at various disciplines. These can cover topics such as skill & speed, combinatorics, but also the superior stomach volume.
• How is the game played?
  There is a maximum of 16 teams with six members each.
  So be quick!!!
  The requirement is that all members live in the same house (not entrance).
  Students who do not live on campus will form their own teams.
• Are there any exceptions?
  One non-resident player is allowed per team. However, this is only allowed if the player does not live in a house that already has a team that he/she could join. Short-term subleases are not accepted.
  „Schmuckis“ from Idar-Oberstein, employees and professors are allowed to provide their own groups, regardless of their place of residence.
• This is how you can register:
  To register use the form from the E-Mail. Fill it out and send it to
  fachschaft-uput[at]umwelt-campus.de Deadline for registration is 21 June 2023 4 pm.

All players will be provided with game drinks and a free starting drink. There is a starting fee of 5€ per player. This has to be handed in on the day of the game one hour before the start. Also all team members should be on site at that time (2 pm).

• You're alone, but want to participate anyways?
  No problem! If all your efforts are not enough to fill up a team, write us. Maybe we can match you with others.
• I have a physical limitation
  We want to make it possible for all students to play. Let us know what limitation you have and we will try to give you a fair alternative. This also includes "non-alcoholic" 
• Everyone is welcome!
  As with any other festival, there will be plenty of drinks, food and games for non-participaiting students. Come by and cheer on your heart ladies & boys!

So that you have enough energy to master the day, there will be a barbecue. Drinks are of course also provided, you can expect slush, strawberry daiquiri and Wildberry Spritz.
