Sensor-Lab

The sensor laboratory attached to the AI laboratory is primarily focused on testing new methods for recording and analysing measured values with a wide variety of sensor types. From gas sensors to optical sensors, a broad field of signal processing is integrated into the research field of artificial intelligence. Basic approaches and algorithms for recording, processing and analysing measured values are also being researched, refined and tested for use under real conditions. Using automation technology in the form of various robotics applications, the process of data generation and sample conditioning is also analysed, further developed and optimised using research demonstrators.
