Coordinated Information on the Environment (CORINE):
www.corine.dfd.dlr.de
The Europe-wide CORINE Land Cover (CLC) project aims to provide uniform and thus comparable land cover data for Europe. It is part of the CORINE (Coordination of Information on the Environment) program of the European Union. The mapping of land cover and land use was carried out throughout Europe on the basis of satellite data.
German Environmental Specimen Bank:
https://www.umweltprobenbank.de/en/documents
As an important component of environmental monitoring, the Environmental Specimen Bank serves as a long-term observation of the chemical, physical and biological development processes taking place in the environment in time and space by creating evidence for ecological and toxicological evidence by archiving (chemical modification-free storage) representative soil, plant, animal and human samples and their initial characterization. Both analytes and biometric data can be searched for in their information system.
OSM Landuse Landcover Map:
www.osmlanduse.org/#9.325372234462161/8.96561/49.41026/0/
This project, funded by the University of Heidelberg, uses OpenStreetMap data to display land use and land cover in a large interactive web map. This provides information for the whole of Europe, but is still under development in some areas. Among other things, a distinction is made between urban, industrial, agricultural and forest areas.
Copernicus Land Monitoring Service (CLMS):
https://land.copernicus.eu/
The Copernicus Land Monitoring Service provides data products for monitoring the land surface and inland waters. These are data that document the state of and changes in land cover, land use, vegetation status, the water cycle and energy flows.
Copernicus Netzwerkbüro Boden:
https://netzwerk-boden.d-copernicus.de/
The European Union's Copernicus earth observation program provides freely accessible data on soil properties. Satellite data can be used to draw conclusions about the condition of the soil over large areas, which is important for environmental protection and climate monitoring.
