Regional climate change

Regional climate change: facts - research - fiction

Global climate change will have a significant impact on ecosystems, biodiversity, food production, water availability, human health and economic development in many regions of the world in the coming decades. But what is the situation in our greater region? Can we also find indications of significant changes in the climate on our doorstep by evaluating data from measurement networks and biological environmental monitoring?

As part of student work and excursions, this project will present current research findings on regional climate change in the greater region and discuss measures for adapting to regional changes.
