After the Corona special regulations have not been extended further in the summer semester 2023, the regulations of the examination regulations regarding the counting of attempts apply again, in particular the regulations on when a failed examination must be repeated at the latest = at the latest in the semester after next after the failure of the examination.
In order to avoid cases of hardship, failed attempts will not be taken into account until the summer semester 2022 when determining the time of compulsory participation.
This means for all students:
Examinations that were not passed in the winter semester 2022/2023 must be repeated compulsorily in the winter semester 2023/2024 at the latest.
Examinations that are not passed in the summer semester 2023 must be repeated compulsorily in the summer semester 2024 at the latest.
So please check in QIS if you failed an exam in the winter semester 2022/2023. If this is the case, this exam has to be repeated obligatorily in this winter semester 2023/2024!
The same then applies to failed exams in the summer semester 2023, remember that these must then be repeated in the summer semester 2024 at the latest.
For all examinations, including repeat examinations, it is mandatory to register in QIS independently and, above all, in good time!!! (= at the latest three working days before the examination date, Saturday, Sunday and holidays are not working days!)
However, the "1+4 rule" that is still present in the examination regulations remains suspended until further notice, i.e. it will not be applied.
