WLAN - eduroam

Important: Change of certificate on 11 November 2024

We will renew the certificate for the eduroam connections on Monday morning. When connecting to the WLAN eduroam, most end devices will need to accept the new certificate for radius.umwelt-campus.de Please check the details of the certificate and click only on Connect if the
SHA1 fingerprint matches the following:

40:D0:11:56:5E:C7:5F:AB:0D:3F:F8:B7:A5:D2:AC:B8:0E:44:EB:38

Some devices may no longer connect to the WLAN eduroam after replacing the certificate. In these cases, you must delete the existing WLAN settings for eduroam and set up the connection again according to the instructions on this homepage.

On the entire campus, mobile access is possible via WLAN. By participating in eduroam (Education Roaming), employees and students of participating universities and organisations are able to establish a WLAN connection at the locations of all participating organisations. For guest lectures, semesters abroad, business trips and the stay at a foreign university, you do not have to apply for guest access first, but can log in directly with your known login data. In the meantime, almost all European countries are represented at eduroam and more and more universities in the respective countries are joining their research networks. A map showing all participating locations can be found at www.eduroam.de and www.eduroam.org.
