The aim of the project KONTUR is to develop a new optical measuring method together with the company OPTO4L GmbH in the context of a doctoral thesis, which is able to perform contour measurements in suspensions (e.g. in fermentation broths, foods such as wine, etc.) even under difficult optical conditions. A primary application is to be seen in magnetic filtration and the growing areas of accumulation of magnetic particles in the magnetic filter. In addition, the technology to be developed can also be adapted to other measurement problems in such suspensions.
