The goal of the alliance was to further develop a virtual healthcare assistant that helps healthcare professionals deal with growing amounts of medical knowledge and data. With support from EIT Health, the Clinical Artificial Intelligence Improving Healthcare project will help patients, save lives, save time and costs, allow a much improved overview of a person's health, enable early diagnosis and accurate, evidence-based treatment.
Key goal of Trier University's subproject:
In this consortium, Trier University of Applied Sciences (Environmental Campus Birkenfeld) developed a benchmarking system for artificial intelligence in which, for example, algorithms for anomaly detection can be evaluated and assessed.
As part of the research project, the team was also involved in a research article in the recognized Nature Partner Journal "Digital Medicine".
