Abstract

The "Energy Use and Energy Technology of Renewable Energies" course is a core focus course in the 3rd semester of the Master's program "Environmentally Oriented Energy Technology" at Trier University of Applied Sciences. In order to keep up with the latest developments in the field of renewable energy technology and resource-efficient utilization, the course is being expanded into a multimedia Open Microcredential Module. This module will allow for flexible and interactive didactic elements, enabling a Just in Time Teaching approach. Learners will be able to receive credit points for achieving learning objectives, and the course can be used bilingually at the bachelor and master's levels, making it accessible to learners across departments and universities.
