The tours were created and edited with the Matterport system of the Umwelt-Campus Birkenfeld. Here you have the possibility to get an idea of the local conditions and to get detailed information about different projects.
The Laboratory for Generative Manufacturing I at the Environmental Campus Birkenfeld is currently under construction and houses powder-based manufacturing processes for additive manufacturing. Here, insights into the world of metal 3D printing can be taken. The manufacturing method used here is "selective laser sintering".

In the optics laboratory at the Environmental Campus Birkenfeld, all samples and products produced during the "ComPrintMetal3D" project are optically measured to ensure 100% quality monitoring. This allows conclusions to be drawn about the manufacturing tolerances of the different AM processes.
