To help you prepare yourselves in the best possible way, the student representatives of the departments (Fachschaften) keep a collection of old exam papers to be viewed in their offices.
Students are required to register or deregister in QIS for all examinations within the deadlines. Should the attendance of an examination be impossible due to sickness, a sick note from a doctor must be presented at the registrar’s office within the legal deadline.
Registrations outside the deadlines are not possible.
Students who cannot attend lectures due to inevitable reasons may apply for a leave of absence. This application must be handed in before the end of the re-registration period.
On this website you can find some general cues from current occasion (e. g. Applications to Board of Examiners). All cues are about topics of examinations.
You will find forms for deregistration, change of studies, acceptances of internships, internships abroad, practical phases as well as registration forms for bachelor and master thesis on the right side of the examination office service site.
The services of the examination office includes all questions concerning examinations (registration and deregistration, re-examinations, etc.), information on examination regulations, acceptance of certificates of approval (compulsory internship, advanced internship, merits, practical phases), registration of bachelor and master thesis including requirements check, acceptance of sick notes, acceptance of appeals to the examination board, advice on internal change of studies, composition of certificates of non-objections when changing universities, deregistration from the student register upon completion of studies, administration of grades in the student admin system QIS/POS including trial counting and composition of notes, diplomas and certificates.
Students who are faced with taxing situations or difficulties in personal matters and seek help can turn to the psycho-social support office. During the stated office hours Dipl-Psychologists certified psychologists Iris Lorenz and Nicole Arendt will give advice or make appointments for further counselling. The advice and support is free and subject to professional discretion.
An internal change of degree course is only possible if sufficient allowable merits can be provided to justify the enrolment into a higher semester. A detailed consultation before change of studies is carried out in the examination office.
